Attorney James Hunt has been in the environmental field
since 1994. His scientific
background in aquatic ecology began with technical and legal aspects of captive
aquatic husbandry and aquaculture production. Graduating with a B.S. in Aquatic
Resource Management from Old
Dominion
University in 1998, James pursued a
career with the Virginia
Marine Science
Museum from 1997 to 2000 as a curator
of tidal ecosystems exhibits. Major
research exhibits included reef and intertidal invertebrate propagation,
juvenile fish husbandry, and seahorse reproductive culture techniques. James followed this path to a career in
law, with a focus on environmental law, following graduation from
Campbell
University Law
School in 2005. Hunt Law Group, PC was founded in 2005
to allow James to pursue his joint passions of protecting the environment and
protecting families. James is the
proud father of a 4 year old son and lead instructor for a 501(c)(3) non-profit
martial arts organization.
